Thought I'd share a little today.... Here's the general location..... I'm standing on a mowed path with my back to a brushy area and while you can't see it, there's standing corn about 100 yards to the left. You can see the traps on either side of another path that skirts a low boggy area (forward and to the right) and that goes into another brushy area after about another 100 yards. Here's the set on the right side of the path....just a regular dirt hole set with a clod of dirt I found nearby that I brought over and used as a backing. The other set is similar but with a different backing, bait & lure. The prevailing wind direction blows the scent across both sets..... The 1st two nights the wind direction was 180 degrees out and not really in my favor....that all changed last night, with this nice red fox wearing a KB braclet this morning.... In this photo, you can see the path I was standing on to take the first 2 photos and the brushy area I spoke of. The other set was worked as well, don't know if it was by this fox or another however. Thanks for looking

Thanks for sharing, I'm new to fox and coyote trapping and I know location is the biggest part. What I think is on location might not really be. seeing pictures like this and having it explained how and why you set where you do really helps. Thanks again.
