I just went out for a couple hours and never heard or saw a single coyote. Is anyone having any luck? What do you use for calls?

Coyotes are in the corn around here. They howl on the ridges right at dark and end up low. ive had 6 come in so far this year and most were done with just howling and pup distress. Rabbit distress hasnt faired well yet at all , they seem to be full.Male challenged 1 in to about 10 yards at the end of a half cut corn field like a ball of fire.Quite exciting. Fox opens this weekend , cant wait. good luck all.

LoL, Production calls - I use both open and closed reed . CRIT-R Calls are my personal favorite from major boddiker and are open reed.I have pee wee and song dog jr , they will do both pup and rabbitt distress, howl and fawn bleats. Also you can get custom made calls , someone from this site sells em and Predatormasters is a good place for about everything . Allpredatorcalls.com is also first rate. When someone can make the sound of a greyfox pup on a handcall they will be rich. Also if you can get a hold of yeti hunter he makes a great higher pitched call. good luck.Keep at it and where are you from?I go alot maybe we can take a hunt.
