Thought I'd make a post for what Doe Permits everyone got.
Me: 7A and 7F My fiance got 7F and turned down for 7F for her 2nd. My dad got 7M and turned down for 7F for his 2nd. My Grandfather for 7F and turned down for 6K for his 2nd. He goofed on the order he should have asked. My grandmother got turned down for 6K but got 7F for her 2nd. She now has 2 preference points for 6K. My aunt got 7A (landowner) and 7F.
Still got one uncle and the neighbor across the street to get theirs.

Applied for 9G & 9J but got turned down on 9J for twos years in a row. Everyone is always complaining about the deer population in these areas but tags are getting harder to come by.

i got one for 9H, and my dad has two. my dad throws his out, to try and save some of the deer around here. too many guys are going out shooting everything they see, and now theres not much left, and then they are the ones complaining about how theres no deer. go figure

If your dad's throws his away why apply for them at all? I think the DEC does a fairly decent job of issuing deer management permits and if they are issuing them for your region, they certainly must be enough deer to support it. By throwing them away it's taking the enjoyment & opportunity from someone else who possibliy can't hunt now and may even need it to support there family through the winter. Just my 2 cents......for what it's worth

i dont really know, he thinks he's saving deer in our hunting spot, but 9H has a lot of deer in other places. its his decision, and i couldnt change his mind. but, maybe ill use them up in high populated areas

i drew one for 6r. I don't think that doe tags hurt the population as bad as nuisance tags do. Farmers don't need to take 30 deer off their land every year
