Congratulations Mark ! That is one hell of an accomplishment for anyone in the Northeast. My hat is off to you - I know what it takes to make something like that happen - more work than most are willing or able to do. You've not only set the bar high, you're the man holding it !

Thanks everyone.....
Not sure on the wolfer title....that is debatable. But, I guess it is better than some other names I have been called.
The internet is a marvelous place to learn and share, but it can also be a detriment to some guys as you sit and watch your competition get better right in front of your eyes at unnatural speeds.
When I was a kid, a guy who could catch fox or coyotes in number was literally viewed as a demi-God, and those guys were tight-lipped and loners.
Now, ALL the info is out there and continues to be shared. Guys go from catching zero coyotes to 10-20-30-40-50 in no time. They learn that it is not rocket science, catch a few, increase their confidence, and before you know it, they too are the King of the Fur Sale.
My point: While this is the first time I was able to do this, it took over 20 years of NY coyote trapping to get here, and all the stars lined up for me regarding time off, weather, etc.
My bet is you will see others do this real soon, maybe even this year.
But for now, I will enjoy my 15 minutes......
Thanks again!

Yes it sure is easier to learn today.I to learned very slowly from one year to the next. But one thing remains the same as it did in years gone by.You still have to put your boots on and get out there and work hard and stay with it day after day to get results.

Zagman,
I can't imagine the amount of Work it has taken. I would love it if you shared the miles your line ran and your estimated man hours per coyote. Your one heck of a trapper to do this in the Northeast
