Anyone on here been on oneida lake yet? If so, how is it out there, thickness of ice, any good/suggested spots? I usually go to big bay, or along the south shore on muskrat bay road in brewerton. I have been wanting to get out but with the lake effect snow, and such...have not got a chance yet...

Yup I've been out a bunch of times. Not too much to show for it. I go off of Constantia off family property. I have also tried Williams park but didn't stay too long cause of the wind. Went to Edgewater yesterday morning. Had 1 on but came off half way up. He was heavy and bit real light. Marked a few but they never took the bait. I took the sled out but got bogged down in the slush. I hope this cold freezes that ice,
Check iceshanty.com for more reports on Oneida. I use the same screen name on there also.
