Anyone looking to catch a bunch of rainbow trout head to the Fifth Lake of the Fulton Chain (Inlet,NY) Just launch your boat on fourth at the state launch or at the marina and take the channel over to fifth lake. We were using a Lake Clear wobbler with a worm and were getting non stop action; fish were running 8-12". Also bring some Muskie lures cause there is some big tiger muskies in that small pond!!! We fished fourth lake today also. Took a 10-11" Brook Trout out near the Islands with Downrigger and Cowbell Rig. Lost something on the rig Fingerlakesfur suggested in the Ice Out thread....We fished deep 50-70ft of water all day marking very few fish? Then on the way in to the boat launch; right in front of the state boat launch there was a drop off from 35ft to about 20ft; I started marking fish all over the place. I threw the Lake clear wobbler out with a worm trailing and nailed a Big Laker!! Guess the fish are still hanging out in the shallower water. Had to go so I didn't keep fishin' but We marked LOTS of fish just out from the state boat launch in the 20-30ft depths!!!! Surface Temp was 63 degrees.... P.M. Me if anyone is looking for more specific info or Directions!

Skipped the Bass crowd today & went after Trout again. We caught a bunch more Rainbows out of Fifth Lake Again! One Tiny Laker out on Fourth? Couldn't get any bigger ones today?
