Season opens June 15th. I haven't been out in years but want to start up again this year.
Any one else gig frogs?

I have a couple times...It was alot of fun...Those frog legs aren't bad eating either.....I think Fur Fish & Game had an article on taking Frogs in one of it's recent issues!!

We used to go out in the big swamps with .22's, that was fun. I think there may be a law or 2 against that now. BB guns are also good, a little quieter. If your good, use an old bow...now we're talking. Doesn't matter how...they all eat good. And the left overs from cleaning don't make bad 'coon or mink bait.

I'll call on the .22's. Im going to set up a long pole with red thread for my girlfriend to use. She cant use a firearms since she hasn't taken her hunter course yet, I always used a .22. I use Subsonic ammo. Maybe i'll use my buckmark 22 pistol if its legal.

Hi Guys,
My grandfather used to take us out at night as kids with fishing poles with a red piece of yarn attached to the hook. I am not sure what the attraction is, but it really works. Good Luck!
