I need a new outhouse. Original one is now 22 years old. Time, weather, and porcupines have pretty much taken their toll. I priced 2x4’s at Lowes. $9.58 a piece!! OSB is $51.38 a sheet. T1 -11 is $54.49 a sheet. GOOD GOD!! I have decided to build it from 4” to 6” diameter logs from my property. I’ll let you know how that goes. Anybody tell me why prices have gone up so?

It can only be stated that the democrats are in office, fuel, food and needed goods are on the rise.
The national debt and energy prices will be at record levels higher by the end of Biden's term...
Good luck with the outhouse !!!!!

Can't nuke the economy with a money flood and expect anything but inflation, the price increases always follow the same sequence. And yeah, it wouldn't be "getting political" to point fingers over it.

With all the price increases of fuel, wood and ammo, I can no longer afford to be a redneck...

Same time I'm heavily curious about no one nearest logger or a sawmill is interested on my standing maple, yellow and black birch, oak, beech and hemlock timber. Just 0.8 miles from Rt1025 in Windsor. I've learned ( last Century though) American capitalism is responding to a price change pretty fast. Hey lumber/timber entrepreneurs from Broome, Susquehanna counties, where are you I'm ready to sell a log-per-log . If you want you can bring your own portable sawmill and make lumber on a premises. Just need extra cash.
