Temp hit 50 here today. Snow was actually melting off the house and barn. Went perching today and caught a few. Picked up my shanty that I took off ice Friday and did needed repairs. I watched Geese traveling back all day. I am reading seed catalogs and ordering tonight! Smells like Spring to me.

Saw the first (for us) redwing blackbirds today. That, along with the spring peepers, gets me through winter. Thanks for the reminder, I've been putting off my seed order!

Maple syrup time for me although not much running...did boil twice and ended up with 3 gallons each boil (half of what I typically get from a boil). Forecasted cool temps may turn things on.

Slow sap flow here too, Dino. No matter, always good! Taking on Ma Nature as a business partner guarantees you get an absolute psychotic beotch in the deal! Have yourself a great season!
