I presented a proposal for the NYSTA to host a gun/sportsman's show at the recent October Board of Directors Meeting. My proposal for a combined gun/sportsman's, combined with a craft/flea market, would be held a the Herkimer County Fairgrounds on May 22-23, 2021. The Board voted in favor of hosting this event. If all goes favorably, I am hoping to make this event an annual fund raiser event for our association.
In order to put this show on and make it the successful event I'm sure it can be, I am going to need all the help I can get from officers, directors, county reps, and dedicated NYSTA members. We will need several people each day to tag incoming guns and check tags on out going guns, as well as to help distribute, set up and take down tables, dividers, chairs, etc.. I will also need runners to help out vendors for food and bathroom brakes and maybe someone to run a raffle at the NYSTA booth.
If you are interested in helping me out, and helping the NYSTA insure this is a successful fund raising venture, please let me know what you would be willing to help out with and what days you would be available to help.
Thank you!

Will trapping supply dealers be invited? Will Covid protocols be followed? Will you still have Labor Day Convention?

Al the convention with still be held on Labor Day weekend and yes to your other questions the hardest part of planning this event and the convention is not really knowing what the covid restrictions will be at that time who knows the whole state could be shut down or could be wide open it's a wait and see what happens and hope for the best but the planning go's on
