Just returned from selling some green fur to Mark Boardman,
Seneca Fur & Supply at the Mapleview Truck stop
off I-81 & State Rt.104 at the exit #35 Mexico exit.
Had 15 green beaver to sell.
It was an unusually small run of beaver.
Prices as follows:
1 @ $12.00
2 @ $10.00
5 @ $8.00
3 @ $5.00
2 @ $3.00
2 @ $1.00
$95.00 Total
$6.33 average

Unlike you to have anything green... My back and hip joint are too far gone to stand the time necessary to flesh, and board beaver at this point. Add to that the dismal prices being payed for put-up beaver In-country, and at auction in this state and it has been an easy choice for this trapper. Just got through putting up 25 Grey & Red Fox so I have done my share of put-up this season. Prior to the last couple years, I have never sold any green fur. Times are changing. w

Bob...were you paid cash or check, and is Mark buying himself or repping for someone? I've sold to him when repping Groeney.

I took Mark's check which cleared the bank just fine. Although I'm not entirely sure, I think Mark is working for Mark. But He did responds with a big smile when I told him the rumor on the street was He was buying for Wiebke. I wouldn't have any problem selling green fur to Mark Again. w
