Just getting interested in trapping. I am located in Rochester but own/hunt a small property in Kanona area (Steuben County). Took my first coyote this year around Thanksgiving with my rifle and I am hooked. I have started putting supplies together for next season and I have a lot of learning to do in the fur-handling category. Would love to connect with someone who has some experience or maybe a little knowledge and pick up a few tricks. I am happy to work in return as learning is learning in my book. Anxious to get better at skinning, and learn to flesh, stretch and dry.
Anyhow, if you'd ask, I am a deer hunter. I dabble with ice fishing and fly fishing to fill up my other time.

Sounds good guys! Thanks in advance. Seeing as we find ourselves in the off season, maybe a drink or two would be in order to talk trapping. Keep me ahead of the game for next season. Interest?
