what sweet baits would be best for early season fisher?

Dear Friend, Fruit paste baits work well in various flavors, Most coon baits / lures work pretty good. A little beaver sack oil mixed into some bacon grease will get a fishers attention. Ground & preserved meats mixed with honey are effective. Regards

Right now, and for the past few weeks, all the trail cams (mine and others') are showing pics of fisher gorging themselves on wild apples. Some are hysterical... Not less than 14 pics on one 25-acre parcel in the past 2 weeks, other cameras are almost as high numbers of pics. How would a little apple jelly, or even cider, added-in be?

Thanks for the suggestions. I picked up some of night owls brushfire to use in some dirt holes for them also
