So I have had wax dirt spread on plywood coverd with tarp and some in black totes and the wax doesn't seem to be melting been a week of good weather and it's just not going as fast as I thouvh. Am I impatient or am I doing something wrong. Any ideas? Location is all day sun from 9 am when fog burns off till 7 pm totes get hot to touch

Heavy dew can cause a problem. I really don't have a lot of good luck this time of year, I think it because of the angle that the sun is. 10 hours of direct sun works in August but it seems to need more in September . How think is your dirt , the thinner the better works for me. 1/2"-3/4" is what I do. Is your tarp touching the dirt , it shouldn't . Try black plastic for your tarp it will heat up faster. That's all I got ,good luck

Thanks it is so I will address that...if it's not done by middle of next week I'll rig up a heating system and slowly heat it up...just didn't want to add scent if I could avoid it
