I'd run fixed blade muzzys...I have a xbow stuck a 6 pt last year didn't get penetration I thought I should have 8 don't know if rages didn't open or I hit rib right in middle or what but ended up loosing it. They are not magic and cannot reach any further than any regular bow. We should have full inclusion but the elitists won't let that happen without a fight.
What xbow did you get it have a recruit not bad for the price I just bought the matthews htx so probably won't use it this year wife will kill me if I don't use my new bow...

I wish I'd known, about 2 months ago I found another ladder stand that someone had just put up in my woods. Only reason I can think of why they'd put it up in June is to let it "season." Who knows. Funny, the property is properly posted. Funny about that... not really. So anyways, as always, first I call both the local ECO and the State Police to advise me the proper thing to do (it hasn't always been the same from the SP, so I make sure each time. And there are too many times... funny, that.), then I do as I'm told. "Keep it, it's yours" is the usual answer, and was again this time. But I can't use tree stand now that my vestibular balance is gone, so I leave a note where the tree stand was telling them that it's been turned over to the NY State Police, their address and phone number, and they can pick it up there with proper ID and proof of ownership. Of course, then they'd be charged with - whatever. I don't ask what they do with the tree stands. I don't care. Sorry, Brian. Maybe I can retrieve it because as they said, if it's on my property without my knowledge or consent, it belongs to me. And yes I already know from past experience the firestorm that statement may ignite here, but that's what "the law" that I'd have to answer to in these matters told me to do and as far as I'm concerned, that makes me fireproof.
