I have multiple venison bait piles and scraps scattered in the vicinity of where I hunt. Coyotes, foxes, etc. find them in fields like the one I am standing in and come back like clock work. They always come back! The fields become predator magnets! I have cameras out, multiple stands, including a heated 4'x 6' shed and one "deck" in a tree with railed staircase that I can put 3 rotating chairs in. The big advantage I have is I own the property where these stands are; I can maintain small baited sites daily creating competition by predators to get there first for dinner; and biggest of all Gen 3+ nightvision. They never know they are being watched. I pass up foxes, possums, etc. that come to the bait piles most of the time and let them lay down scent trails that wandering coyotes intersect and follow. I do call using both electronic and Primos Howler. To answer your question, the two in the preceding pic were not called... they were previously picked up on cameras at two different bait sites.

Sounds like you got a real nice set up and that's some good looking ground you got there. My hunting partner and I have some ranchers that call us when they have a sheep or cow die. When the coyotes and sometimes badgers start feeding, we watch the bait. We get some that way and we will call the area around the bait a mile or two out and sometimes call some more in.
