Hello, I am having an issue uploading photos to the site. I keep getting the error message about exceeding file limit with a maximum of 1 MB allowed. I have reduce picture size many times and I believe am below file size now at 279 kilobytes which, according to a converter I used is only .27 megabites, which means I should be able to post at least three pics of this size, correct? Any help appreciated. Arrowsmith PS I just posted the same thread over on Trapperman site and uploaded original "regular sized pic" without a problem. I'd like to post here if I could just figure out the pic issue.

You will need to have a photo bucket account to post photos here. Up load them there and then post from there to here. It's the only way I've found that works.

Kirkwooder, Thank you. Ok, I've got the photo bucket account. Now what do I do to get them from photo bucket to here?

First you will need to click on the reply icon on the top right of the quick reply box. That will open a "Create Post" window on a new screen. You then click on the "insert Image" icon, witch is the third one from the right in the group of icons that are all the way to the left, above the area where you write your message. When you click on that another smaller window will open with a place to enter a web address, and will appear have the "http://" highlighted. Once you have that open tou will need to open a new page and go to the photo , on the photobucket page that you want to upload. If you click on the "direct" window thing, on the far right side of the photobucket page it will automatically do it's thing and will show a "copied" message in the window. Then if you go back to the trappers board and paste the copied address in the image spot, and then hit the "insert" it should do it's thing. And then Create Post.

Kirkwooder, when I go to the photobucket page the links are not "lit" and I am not able to click on direct or any of the other links. Any ideas?

Kirkwooder,I think I may have an issue with the photobucket account I've opened. It appears that the links are not active. I've opened this pic as well as several others and none of the available link choices to the right are highlightable (word?). I'll keep trying. In the meantime, has anything changed in this forum with regard to posting pics? I seem to recall posting a pic last year without an issue. Arrowsmith

Thanks for all the help guys. Just tried again and the link is just not active. None of the share links will light up when I click on them. I've even tried to right click to copy and paste and it will not let me copy the link. I'm going to write the link down and try to physically type it in to see what happens. Arrowsmith

You have to be in your library and then actual open that picture to make it work....However, you can also right click on the picture itself and select copy url and then paste it to the Forum. Another option is in the top right hand corner of the picture you'll see a flower looking icon when you hover your mouse over it....click the share option then click on the img to copy it.
