I wanted to share some photos from our second annual trapping trip in northern NY. My son Colton (just turned 11 yrs old) completed the Rushford trapping camp last month and was very excited to apply some of the things he learned. He was extremely helpful on the line and back in the trapping shed when we got home, both physically and knowledge-wise. We hiked many miles, saw lots of wildlife, and were rewarded with many great memories. He was a good sport despite the cold, wet/snowy weather and our "primitive camp" without the comforts of running water, etc. We skinned our fur on the line and washed up in the river. As a Dad, I cannot imagine it getting any better than this!! Looking forward to setting some traps here at home after the initial craziness of deer season settles down a bit...hopefully the snow that is currently falling slows down a bit too!

Wow!...nice....now there is a kid being brought up the right way....great job guys, sounds like it was a blast. That last picture with Colton stepping up to flesh on that improvised step-up is priceless. All great pics. You guys are living it right.
