i made a bunch of adjustables by cutting out solid boards IAW NAFA then just using a table saw ripped right down the center....added a wooden slide with 2 bolts washers and wingnuts.....better yet ill be in my deadshed shortly ill take a pic and post for ya...they really are easy to make, in expensive, and hands down IMO better than solid boards as they can be used for multiple species

solid board is just ripped down center, i made wood slides but you can use just about anything, no need for a "pivot" at the top, when slide fasteners are tight or you have fur on the board it stays where you put it, the other benefit if you have a hide that is "stuck" you just remove one side of board and it falls right off Attachments:

it doesnt hurt on your thin skinned critters (fisher and fox)but really not necessary as you collapse the slide to remove hide and stubborn ones you just dis assemble and they come off pretty easy,(over stretching IMO is the biggest cause of "stuck fur") sounds like you live very close by (less than 10 mins), your welcome to come by and check out in person as im in full swing with boarding critters, just send pm
