This is for the coon hunters who just got three big coon or the trapper who just got tired from carrying coon....... I have a simple trick for a tail stripper in the field. Simply snap off a supple branch off a tree. Double it over and now you have a tail stripper. Does not have to be restricted to coon either.
I also use another branch broke off and hang the coon on to pull it down. Simple trapping wire through the tendons in the back legs works too.....
I'm sure there a hundred things to do and use, but when you forgot something and only have a knife with you, well this can lighten the load on a long walk.

I used to carry in my pocket a hair pin from the farmer store. Pop it on and pull. That was much easier than even attempting it by hand. I'm trying to help the novices. BTW.
