I am a first time trapper. I wondered if anyone had any thoughts on a square plastic bucket cubby for mink?

i know a few folks that use the old news paper mailboxes, i prefer to make small boxes using chicken wire, allows scent to disperse, and you can leave the cage out all year and just bait and set trap when season rolls around, camo is easy as well (handful or 2 of leaves over the top)

I prefer natural materials myself. If you can locate a trail that 'rats and mink share a conibear trap works. I caught 7 mink at one set a couple years ago . It was a underwater burrow that mink couldn't pass up. You can create one or make a pocket set with bait in the back guarded with a foothold or conibear.
