was wondering after traps are degreased can they be put out or should i try to dye or paint them to take shine off and do you guys wax dp's any help is great thanks

My dukes I rusted and dyed the first coon in each had them shined up prettier than when they cane out of the box. Reset and caught more so I wouldn't worry to much about it.

Same only got 2 opossums in them this year so far new spot to put them lets see a coon in one lol

no need to however i vinegar soaked mine (after first season) then dipped in the rustoleum primer, paint, acetone mixture(discussed in another thread), then dipped in full metal jacket, necessary no, however they are holding up beautifully, ive got a few that have caught three and four coons since and aside from wiping the dirt off they look no worse for wear (no wear of coating, no rusting, no shiny bare metal or "locked up" triggers from corrosion (especially when using sardines or mackeral for bait)
