I just started trapping and this year have had the success of a coon, fox, and fisher. The fisher was released but when skinning the fox and coon I was a bit uneasy with where to make the cut to remove the bottom lip. If anyone can help it would be greatly appreciated.

1/2 to an inch of fur left on the bottom jaw is fine.

Just trim it off so that it can't fold over on itself when boarded.
