How many of u use them on the water I can't see them used for land sets but how long do u make them thanks

Only time I use wooden stakes is in a musrat marsh for rats where I know no beaver or coon roam. Streams amd such I use rebar T stakes or wire off to something solid. Always stake for the largest animal you "might" catch.

Thanks tmac its how I was thinking I'm going to use on #1s and 110s that's all and maybe trail sets if I use body grips this year

I use them for rats and mink usually cutting them on the line as I need them. But like Mac, I try to wire to something solid. The quicker you can drown them (coon,mink,rats)the less issues you'll have with pull outs, chew outs or ring offs.
