JD. I start out with a hand call, crack rabbit after about 15 mins i go to elec caller fox pro & depending on where i am hunting & for what i use a second elec caller primos to spice things up. i use baby/ jack rabbit & gray fox fight. the most depending on time of year. w/other sounds. 12g 3" hevi. shot dead coyote T. & for rifle Hornady superformance 223 53gr v-max. if i am in a contest it will be shorter but i stay on stand for at least 1hr if not longer....Ron

Wow you really stick to the stand . I read once average response time is 7 minutes. I pretty much have evolved into setting up for greyfox and using greyfox pup and hand calls. The coyotes have howled, fired up to that sound many times so now i move on em and get closer using the wind , the vocal ones seem easier to call when you know where there at.Seems to cut down alot on empty set ups and callin fox is fun !!
