I tried my hand at Putin up a beaver pelt after it dried I pulled nails out hung it on a nail but iv noticed that its starting to curl up like a "taco". If I can figure out how to post a pic I will. Just wondered if this is gonna be a problem?
Thanks

I just asked this question a couple of months ago. Two responses: 1.) let it dry a bit longer 2.) stack your pelts horizontally with cardboard in between the pelts and set weight on them. This worked well for me.

Beaver taco!!! I like it!! Not that it happen to you, but the way you described it. Ditto on what Mr. ECGREEN says. How far apart were nails?

Ok that makes sense! I'll do that.
Trapper Jack I'd say 1/2 to 3/4 in apart. Didn't come out quite like I think it shoulda..but it was my first attempt at it..gotta start some where lol...
