i have a question re guarding fur care i skinned out two fox and put em inside out on a pair of crutches i didnt flesh them right away and its been below freezing in my shed now it seems impossible to flesh them is there any way i can rehydrate the pelt without ruining it ?

U can try wrapping them in a damp towel that should do the trick hopefully they haven't spoiled

I made this same mistake the first year I trapped. Taboo I am sure by most but I just tossed the pelt in warm water for 10 minutes, took it out and snapped it like a towel to get the majority of water out of it, then fleshed it. When I sold it that year, it went for the same price as furs equally put up furs that year.

Don't put your fox on crutches. Spend the money and buy a fox stretcher or find some one who can loan you one.
