I've got a small bucket of clams shucked out of shell. I'm threw them in the freezer for now. I think they would make a good coon/mink bait, but not sure how to put them up. Any tips?

I would try canning salt.

Dear Friend, {assuming your "small bucket" is about a quart}...........place the clams in a blender or food processor, add 1/2 cup {4 oz} of pickling salt or sodium benzoate and blend. Add just enough glycerine or vodka to achieve the consistancy you want. After blending refrigerate for 10 ~ 14 days to cure.........after curing you could add an enhancer if you like or use as is. Regards papabear
