Can gland lures be enhanced and still be called gland lure? If so, what can be added to gland lures and still remain a gland lure? Urine? Would castor make it a curiosity lure?
What are your thoughts?

Dear Friend, Added sparingly, skunk essence, civet, lovage. asafoetida are some great gland lure enhancers that keep in tune with the true gland lure principle. Regards papabear

Dear Mr Winter, I would add just enough to where you can JUST detect the civet or asafoetida odor and NOT overpower the the gland odor. Start with an ounce of asafoetida or 1/4 oz of civet, mix well and if needed add more in small increments {an eye dropper is very helpful}....Regards papabear
