For the first time possibly EVER, to the question, I do not think I can beat that number next year.
My life, vacation, job, etc will not be changing anytime soon, so my three weeks vacation will be status quo for a while. Therefore, USUALLY, those three weeks is when I get 90% or more of my catch.
This winter was an anamoly......and I was able to trap in January and February. Heck, this may be the first year where I caught a coyote on the first check of the season and last day of the season.
Generally, with our snow and lack of free time/vacation, I am shut down at Christmas time.
So, the point, nope......no realistic chance of beating this number any time soon.
What I WILL concentrate on is beating my annual numbers for those three weeks......that is something I can count on and control and measure against past years.
