Had to show it to you Walleye, cause I gotta say , you are my Hero when it comes to water trapping !! You are "The Man" when it comes to the water line....for a couple of years now I have loved looking at your pics and readin your witty little stories of all your encounters with the Beavs' and Rats !! Always sayin to myself that Walleye is one trappin SOB !! Anyways...here it is our first Beaver in a 330 ;D we have trapped beavers with footholds for all 3 years we have trapped, but had never caught one in a body gripper....I cant believe these beast can fit their heads into the trap !! Weighed in at 50 pounds on the dot . I had an emergency trip to Florida, had to fly down Wednesday night and chaffeur my mother back home after my dad had surgery (long story) Drove back 1200 miles in 21 hours including stopping for gas and meals and only missed one trap check............and wouldn't you know it I missed our first Beaver in a Body Gripper...thats Murphy's Law I guess, oh well, I celebrated by stopping at the very next Gander Mountain I saw after gettin the text message from my Uncle and bought us another 330 ....believe it was somewhere in Virginia..not sure, after 8 states a few of them where just a blur ;D Was only cell phone pics because I wasn't around for the photo op, but hopefully todays check will produce a couple of beauties !! Got us a nice little Beaver sanctuary we found ;D Landowner has even invited us back for Land Trapping and Muskrat next year already ;D Three more weeks to go....happy Trappin everyone !!

I am humbled and pleased by your kind words.
There are many better, greater, more productive trappers on this site, but none love trapping and sharing it with their brother/sister trappers any more than me.
Great first conibear beaver. That is a TOAD !!!
The first of many more to come, I'm sure.
Keep stacking them up, as it's going to be a LONG summer. LOL
