I got my 4 yr. Old grandson a pair of child sized waders today... So after work I picked him up and took him trapping. We ended up with 4 Muskrats and 2 Beavers. He got to see me let a Raccoon go. He did n't understand why I did that. It was a very good evening.

What a feeling...
My niece still asks me if I'm trapping. I just got her involved 2 days but showed her and her brother each different animal I caught.
I wish there were some rats in the pond behind my parents we could have trapped together this year since they watch them everyday but alas, the "wetland" was DEAD! No rats for them to get. So much for a "productive ecosystem".
