Congrats... I know many that end their career at such a young age... They always find themselves busier than they were before... Gotta be scary, but with drive, you will always succeed! In a year, I bet you will be better off than you ever imagined...

Congrats Wayne, like you said, you are just finishing the first half. I retired with 26 years in the Army, used my military points on the NYS Civil Service test and retired a second time with a NYS Public Service Pension. The two monthly pension checks and Social Security and lifetime Family Blue Cross PPO paid insurance policy is way more than I made as a Civil Engineer working every day, and most of it is tax free! You have a good start, and more than qualified to do even better. Best Wishes, and you should be able to trap whenever you want!!
