I hope I can get some info from u guys that have been at this for a while. Had a good season and have already sold my fur, thought I would sell while prices were up. I have picked up a few more rats, they are fleshed and streched.
How do I freeze them? do they have to be in air tight vacum bag?
Any help would be great!!!!! THANKS GUYS!!!!

The best way to freeze them would be vaccuum packed...but if that isn't possible, get as much air out of a ziploc bag by using a straw and freeze them.

Thanks Itrapny, I'm glad someone responded. I don't want them to mold up or freezer bund.
Thanx again!!!!!!!!

I had a dozen left last year, wrapped each in newspaper and stacked them in plastic bag, got as much air as possible out and froze, they had a slight yellowish tint to them but still sold well this winter. Fur

I vote with nyrat sell them this spring-----They may not be worth a five spot next year or a $!.00---you never know in the fur business --- year to year.
