The ticks are out like crazy so if you're out in the woods or fields, take the time to check for ticks when you're done.

I remember being in Fort Bragg, walking threw a swamp and finding Balls of ticks, the size of a sortball may 10 inches off the ground, clustered every were. Never seen anything like it any where else.

I spent my younger years living every day of my summers off school, out in the woods. 2-3 months at a time. Not one tick to be found. The last 4 years, I cant keep the off me. Spend an hour in the woods and I'll find at least one or two ticks on me

Come down too the hudson valley were loaded with them picked 11 of them off the dog on sunday and a half dozen off my self . been dealing with ticks for over 2o years been bit forty to fifty times and now suffer from chronic lyme.

I have often wondered if by bring home the critters we do if we could be creating a local flea and tick infestation around our homes.
I feel for those living in the Eastern part of the state the ticks are bad. I seldom worry about it around the Finger Lakes, but I am starting to see more of them.
