Well Bill, once upon a time there was a little bit of sense and Sensability in society. There was actually some people that believed that popular belief and actions were not the Norm. Old Noah was one of those people that believed change was not really needed. That DST was a little foolish. I tend to agree with him. Ed

...I like it Mole..... Common sense died long ago, here in NY it went the way of the cougar....occasionally you think you see a glimpse of it, but then the politicians and the law makers in their actions show you proof that you were wrong.

Papabear did not know that you were into poetry.I also will go along with the whole thing because I see no real reason for daylight savings time. I suspect that the vast majorty of real outdoorsmen just take advantage of daylight hours no matter what the hour hand says.

It could be that or perhaps they have become brainwashed to the point that no matter what the cost they believe big brother knows best .This resulting in treir no longer being able to make rational decisions themselves.

It's something to think of all the educated folks that made that treck into meet Noah. Don't think they brought any of that common sence out with them.

Debbie had the good fortune of meeting him in TupperLake once. He was a nice person. Bill, You usually agree with common sense and that is something in your favor. The world needs more people like You and me. Remember my Grandmother.

When I was a young kid my Dad took me to the Sportsmen's Show at the Old Grand Central Palace in New York City. It was in February 1947. I got to see Noah Rondeau at that time. The New York Conservation Department brought him down to the show, it snowed like crazy going home, and I've never forgotten the experience.
