Dear Friends, I watched these beaver 6 times for 45-60 minutes each day. they moved into an old pond about mid November, repaiered the existing dam and built a bank lodge and large feed pile.........Mr. Sixgun I did not kill these beaver out of gratitude for the photo and learning opportunities they freely gave me.....I am sending Mr. Mole a few more photos to post. Regards papabear

Dear Mr. Brushwolf, Several times these beaver came within arms reach. I also tried an experiment with these beaver. I wired a 330 open so it couldnt fire and while these two beaver were swimming a mere 6' away watching me i set it in a pull out trench that led to a castor mound I made. I set 2 trail cams to catch there reactions. Neither beaver would go through the trap. approached, sniffed, went around. It was quite intriguing. Regards papabear

That's awsome...sounds like a 330 wouldn't have helped anyway.

Dear Friends, These beaver taught me a few things. The trap test was inspired by Clint Locklears Teachers of the Night - beaver dvd. { yes Mr. Rockwood I paid attention to it, lol}. Also got to test my beaver lure and Bob Samuelsons Beaver 401 lure on these two beaver and was happy with the results as I actually got to see them work the lures as I watched. Regards papabear

Dang they're pretty could you send them out here we could use some dark ones these here are pretty pale-------Tom I watched a beaver get caught -a pullout on a house the beaver climbed out on the side of the trap worked the stink and went down into the trap----after that one couldn't coax another one ---going back in a couple days and see if their still there this was 2 years ago a real neat place where they run the buffalo into the aryo still find bones ain't no end to the fun
