looks good to me was thinking of buying some 5.5 s lam o/s but think i may just use #2 and weild some round stock on them as well

Looking VERY nice.. I used to do the dogs.. But I have given up.. I suck at doing them! PIT dogs for me LOL

hahaha I used a tig rig at low amps but the first one i did melted the dog right in half as soon as it arched! I had 6 dozen to do so i got good at it by the end!

I decided I don't have the patience for the dogs after I melted...Way too many HA HA HA!! But dang nice job! Multi talented young man you are!!

save yourself welding time and just make your sets with the dog facing you instead of having the loose jaw facing you. No more bent dogs

if you can get use to setting traps wth the dog facing you, you will see better catches. I havent had a toe catch since I turned the traps around

im a newbie to this whole trapping thing so i have to ask how does turning the trap around stop them from bending the dogs up? just curious...

Dog is behind there foot . As for turning trap and getting deeper catches is there foot will press the pan and land deeper in the trap instead of stoping at the dog or pan bolt.

You do nice work on mods . Niiiiice I ordered 2 doz 650's I'd like to meet the man or woman who can set these monsters by hand on there knee ?? Pretty strong trap. I also added jc Connor shock spring and chestnut stake ends .

Hi, my names Andy. Tough trap but not too bad once you've done a few. I wouldn't wanna set a pile one right after another though.
