A common problem with pans, especially the big mink pans, is the side to side slop. Had alot of slop on some #2 DLS traps with big mink pans. Found a solution that seems to work well. Took some 1/16" thick sheetmetal and bend it into a 90* angle with both legs 5/8" long. It is 1/2" wide. Put a slot the size of the pan support down the center of one leg with a cut-off wheel. Welded it to the cross frame so that the slotted piece came up between the back end of the pan and the dog slot. It cut the side to side slop down to 1/16" but still allowed the pan to free fall. Just thought I'd share this with all of you. It's hard to see in the pics but they're the best I could get. Feel free to post any ideas that could make it better Tom
