Yes that is right. It was in Dodgeville. Thanks for peaking my memory. It was incorrect information. This mountain lion was actually killed in Arizona. The gentleman is an ECO in Arizona.

YEs it is. The story is at www.snopes.com/photos/animals/mountainlion2007.asp#photo For some reason, it wouldn't let my picture show up so I just posted the link. My neighbor was telling me all about it being in the paper that he got from camp up in the Adirondacks. I explained the picture to him and he was shocked that I had already seen the article because it isn't a local paper. Ahh well. It reminds me of a time when I jokingly emailed some of my friends at work pictures of the labrador highway in Canada and said they were from Fulton. About three weeks later, one of my students brought the exact same pictures to my class and said "Look at these pictures from Fulton that my grandfather emailed me from Florida" It only takes one. . . . .
