I've never used drags but plan on using some this year. What are the setups you gals and guys use? Chain length, swivels, anything you use would be helpful. Thanks!

i assume your goin for k9s or coons and i use 6 to 8 foot of heavy straight link chain to keep the drag from bouncing around too much with just three swivels, one on baseplate ,halfway and attach to drag

Dear Friend, I use 10' #3 chain and a MB trailblazer drag. I also have some KB customized drags on 10' #2 chain, on these rigs I attach a sash weight 2/3 of the way down the chain towards the drag, to reduce the hooks from bouncing. Regards papabear

Key to a good drag set up is chain length. About any drag will work as long as you use enough chain. I personally use 10-12' of chain. I don't worry about swivels in my drag chain as I'm planning on that being wrapped up and inoperable. Besides that, I use enough swivels in my trap chain that as long as that stays working, I'm good to go.
