What is the best product to repair a leak in a rubber boot ?
I remember hearing "Shoe Goo" among others

scuff up the area first like patching a tire tube works great. also works decent on neoprene waders

if its a small leak buy a tire repair kit then if it still leaks a tube of shoe goo , have a pair of chest waders with a 3" gash in foot fixed over night with shoe goo & used them for 2 season now.

You cant beat Aquaseal, works great !! You can find it at Wal mart.

It is a sealant used on wet suits, works on rubber and neoprene very well !!

Bill - Hope you and Bernie carry a role of Gorilla Tape with you as well. That stuff is awesome for quick fixes on boots and gauntlets. You can jump in the truck, dry the area off really well, stick a piece of that tape over the leak, and go right back out again. The goop stuff works really well, too, and you can get it in an automotive grade at NAPA and others. However, it takes time to cure so that's an overnight fix for me. Out on the line, it's Gorilla Tape !
