My problem was I could only make it to the show on fri. I didnt realy meet anyone cause its hard to recognise a face that you never realy see lol. They should have nametags with everyones screenname on'em. I picked up 20 victor #50's, 20 bmi 110's, 35 victor 1.5 jumps "12 of which were new in the box". A dozen ctm coni's, dozen mb 550's, wildlife controls catchpole "thats a badass peice of equipment there!" alot of hardware and misc, lures, baits urines. Thought I was gonna have to leave the dog due to available space in the jeep lol. Wish I could have met more of you in person probably bumped into many. I had on a bright orange carhart tshirt b-ball cap and a backpack on fri. Anyways fantastic show guys and gals!!!

Also had an awesome time..definitely some great deals to be had..came home with 10 monties and a couple of new Oneida Victor k9 pros 4x4, plus way to many other goodies to list. The Mark June demo on friday was out of this world..definitely worth sticking around all day for..by far the best demo I have seen yet...only wish I could have stuck around for saturday to see Darin Freeboroughs demo, but was still great to see my first state convention !! The best deal of the day though................................ ....was the 2 coyotes that Roger Drake of Valleytrappers Trading Post gave to my 2 kids !!! This guy was unbelievable...to just give them away for no other reason than the smiles on these two kids faces, it just floors me...thats a class act right there !!!! Thanks again Roger, you made those kids day..dont think they have set them down yet !! My only complaint..and it has nothing to do with the convention.....second time I have been to Ilion and still no gun tour at Remington !!! I am a Remington gun nut and tried to get a tour friday but they didnt do tours this summer....GRRRRRRR !!!

I was at the Convention for Thursday afternoon and all day Friday.
I bought Ron Hauser's Muskrat Frenzy DVD, Three bottles of Russ Carmen's "Hudson Seal", A couple dozen Fox Hollow Chained Super Stakes, 48 of Jerry Lebeau's Muskrat Belly Boards, A dozen of Orlando Brown's Xtra-Large Muskrat Boards, and a dozen Duke #160's for $55.00.
I never bought a single used trap although I just missed a whole tub of Northwoods and Monty #1 & 1/2'S FOR TWO DOLLARS EACH !!
I Got myself a NAFA TOP LOT hat to wear and talked to quite a few trappers.
Never did get the Tea party promised me for being the TOP MUSKRAT FORTUNE TELLER !!
Had a good time at FORT FLATIRON, drank a few beers, had some great food and still got to sleep in my own bed Friday night.
Thanks to the NYSTA crew for a well run Convention once again
walleyed out.

I bought a fleshing beam for 20 bucks and a 6 foot coyote wood stetcher for 6. I was pleased with that. I almost bought that little Honda motorcycle that the kids were racing around on but ran out of dollar bills.
