Dear Friends, Heres a simple but effective lure for those who like to dabble. 2 oz ground mink glands, 2 oz ground muskrat glands. (preserve your own glands using common salt) 15 drops of good synthetic Tonquin Musk. Age for a few months (it gets better with age). Dip a q-tip per set. Regards papabear

hi papa bear, what would you use this lure for, I'm sure it's a great mink lure, will it also work for canines?

Could you tincture the mink and rat glands to sub for the actual glands, except use a lil more ?

Dear Mr. 7oaks, You could use tinctured glands as a substitute. Your odor just wont be as strong and you would have a more liquid consistancy. Also I would would cut the amount of tonquin in half so it doesnt overpower the gland odors.........Mr. mvernelson, Good for you, friend...would enjoy seeing some pics. Regards
