I stumbled upon a new shop that sells a large variety of trapping and fishing supplies. Marshey Road Trapline Supplies is in Harrisville just off of Rt. 3. on Marshey Rd. The older gentleman who runs the place is very knowledgeable and had a lot of great stories to share from over 60 years of trapping. The prices were reasonable and I was amazed that he had such a large variety of stuff. If you are in that area it is worth your time to stop. I took his card and his number is 315-543-7106.

I first met 'Art' last fall when I went to check out what he had, I was very surprised with the varieety of traps and equipment he had and wound up making a good size purchase as his prices are very good! He carries everything you would need on a trapline plus fishing supplies and bait. He is a very knowlegable and very personable, I stopped in today just to get some worms and wound up buying a dozen bridger 150's and stayed and talked for almost 2 hrs. I highly recommend anyone in the area to stop there you will not be disapointed. He is also taking orders now, So if you want or need to get something stop in and place an order. His phone # again is 315-543-7106 ask for Art.

Stopped back at the Trapline supply in Harrisville on my anual trip north. Still amazed at the variety of supplies that he has in stock. Picked up a dozen mb550s at a very good price. Still had a little extra cash so picked up one of my favorite lures that he makes. Wish I lived closer because I enjoy talking with the old man. One of my favorite places.
Stopped in there last weekend, what a fantastic place!! A great place to get gear and a story or two. Wish I had more money in my pocket because I spent every dime with me at the time. Will definately stop in again soon.

Just moved to Lewis County New York from Montana. Looking for a place to rebuild my supplies. Looks like the Marshey Road Trapline Supplies in Harrisville is the place to go. Can anyone tell me more about what he stocks?
I was only there once a long time ago when passing through. Looked good then, sorry I don't recall particulars. I'd say give 'em a try, worst that can happen is you took a drive.

Took advantage of the long weekend to visit family. Took a ride to see if Art was still in business and much to my surprise he has more now than the last time I was there. An hour later I filled the back of my truck and had stories to share that will last for a long time. Always great conversations with this old man. I am still amazed that such a small shop can have everything that I need!

I went to see Art today at Marshey Road Trapline in Harrisville he is doing well spent about 2 hours with him. He was closed for a while while dealing with some health issues, but I am very glad to let everyone know he is doing well and is OPEN FOR BUSINESS. Art has a great selection of all types of trapping supplies, a great selection of traps, lures, baits, stretchers, pack baskets, stakes, plus all the other items a trapper may need. Art's wealth of knowledge and stories of times gone by are worth the visit alone. Please call ahead if you can, phone # 315-771-9260.
