Dear Friends, Do you test your lures and bait before using them on your traplines? How do you choose the lure and or bait that you buy? Regards papabear

Papabear,I don't test my lures all the time before season but there are times that I do..only when I think the lure is not up to par and having problems with it and want to work on it before season season starts or have to see if it works for summer control work...My Coon Cream was tested all year when I started to have people ask me if it worked in the summer August heat so I had to find out before I can tell them and it turned out to work great, same goes with my other one Final Approach

Mr. FrankD, thanks for the kind words,.... Mr. Larry, I could tell by the smell of your Coon Cream it was going to be a good one and the testing I did with it proved I was right...... Mr. Jay5981, most good lures will attract a variety of critters, what I look for in lure is that it attracts a good percentage of the target critters, Regards papabear

Test em on the line. Just can't seem to find the time pre season. The "coon candy" I slipped you at Zerbie was a hit last year.
