Very cool! I always wondered how you guys get the needed permission. Is there kind of an average distance a yote will run? And then from there you ask for permission. I trap one farm where the farmer has constant problems with guys running their yote hounds through his farm without permission. Just wondering. Looks like a ball!

Farmers and deer hunters are more than willing to let us run.

So how long would you say your average yote being chased runs? At some point does it try to stand its ground with the dogs?

Deeper the snow, less they run. We have had about 10 that only ran for about a half hour and then bay up.

Not to many problems with cut feet on these running dogs. When I used coonhounds on coyotes they would tear there feet up. I run the dogs all summer and it toughens there feet up
