With a front coming in I tried to beat it right before dark. I was set up in a ladder stand overlooking a thick brushy swampy area. I have called this same stand before in the eve before dark and the first time I did it I got a double on coyotes, the second time I got a red, and tonight I got another perfect red! Hand calls, Shotgun 3" BB's 15 yards. Right after the shot the snow really started coming down. It was my own little winter wonderland out there ;D

I don't even know the name of the call, owned it for a few years now and never even used it till then. Its more like a high pitched bird distress or young rabbit. Either way it was soft and quiet.
