Tried flyfishing for carp for the first time. My saltwater partner took me to a spot and stalk river for these freshwater bones. Casting bonefish flies to feeding carp we each managed one for the morning. JC with about a 12# carp. My first carp on a fly with my 8 wt rod. Guessing he'd push 20#.

Them dang carp will eat anything I used to long latching into them with light spinning tackle, I bet a flyrod is even better

I tend to stick to a bow and arrow when it comes to carp.

Nice! Dont care what anyone says, carp are fun as heck to catch. Would love to catch one on a fly.
