Congrats to all of you, cool pics and great accomplishment for sure. Never have made it near there yet, more of a little bit of everything trapper myself, doubt with a bad back I will ever make that number in a year but ya never know, have to make a sign/club for overall furbearers at magic number, or next higher number, then I could be in the club. Nice work.

In the first post on this thread by Flatiron he states the 100 club is a small and elite club.As the thread contiues it is stated that catching 100 of anything and everthing counts as a 100 club member. This being the case I dont think the 100 club is that small.

Catching 100 of anything in one season makes it an elite club in my opinion. I'd have to say that out of the 10,000 licensed trappers in NY, less than 1% can say they have caught 100 of any one critter (or in the case of K9's-fox & coyotes) in a season.

Using your calulations Wayne that makes 100.I saw more than a few bring more than a 100 furs to the last Honeoye auction.I know they might have been bringing furs from more than one trapper and not just themselfs. You may be right who knows.

Herm , I may or may not understand what you are getting at . the whole thread is a bit of badge of honor so to speak for those (which are few) that harvest 100 critters of one species during the season . Whether it be rats , coon , beaver ,fisher or k-9 . Yes , there are a few that aren't on the website that take 100 of something ( I know at lest two) . There are darn few taking 100 k-9's in a season as Wayne stated .I for one never thought about it until I joined the forum and started trapping again . In years past I took over 100 k-9's , 100 coon , 100etc.. and never gave it a thought . NOW get to the point Herm ! Von

Not really trying to make any point.Just think there might be more out there than just a few.I also agree that it is a badge of honor and often is the end result of a lotta work.

Congrats to all of you 100 guys. Anybody thats done it knows how many hrs, miles , equipment, and time is involved. Alot more than most would ever want to give or put out. Don't matter what species is involved. Here in Pa 100 yotes would be unimaginable as of right now, population isn't there. And thats the way I want it to stay. Thanks guys in Ny keep slammin those yotes. ;D Brandon that is an acomplishment in itself , I don't care who ya are.

Thanks Guys But I don't wont everyone to get the wrong impression this is my '08 season and my '09 season combined. Due to some injurys I was unable to sell last years caught before the botton dropped out of the market. In the long run , price wise I think I made out for the better.
